Dr. Schwartz’s research is focused on addressing knowledge and implementation gaps along the spectrum of non-communicable disease management in low-income countries. His specific area of interest is studying quality of care delivery for NCDs. He is co-Director of the Uganda Initiative for Integrated Management of Non-Communicable Diseases, a research Yale-Uganda research consortium. Potential research site: Uganda. He is also involved in supporting ongoing NCD research in the Caribbean, as Medical Director of the Eastern Caribbean Health Outcomes Research Network (PI: Marcella Nunez-Smith, YSM).
